1. Make a restaurant shortlist
Start a new poll. Under ‘Already have places in mind?’, choose ‘Build your own shortlist instead’ and add the restaurants your group is considering.
2. Create your group poll
Review the restaurant options, give your poll a title your group will recognize, and create the poll. Keep your organizer link so you can confirm the final choice.
3. Share the link and vote
Copy the voting link into your usual group chat. Friends can open it in their browser and vote without an account or app download.

4. Confirm where you’re eating
Check the results as votes arrive. The organizer can close voting, settle a tie, and confirm the final restaurant. Share the result so everyone knows the plan.

What is DinePoll?
DinePoll is a restaurant voting app for groups, available on iPhone and the web. Create a shortlist, share one poll link, collect votes, and confirm where to eat together.
Do friends need an account or an app to vote?
No. Guests can open the shared voting link in their browser and vote without creating an account or downloading DinePoll.
Can I add restaurants I already know?
Yes. On the new-poll page, open ‘Already have places in mind?’ and choose ‘Build your own shortlist instead’ to enter your own restaurant options.
What happens if the vote is tied?
The results show the votes. The organizer can settle a tie and confirm the final restaurant; DinePoll does not promise that everyone will agree.
Does a final decision make a reservation?
No. Confirming the group’s choice in DinePoll does not book a table. Check opening hours, availability, dietary needs, and any reservation directly with the restaurant.
